An unmistakable duo
Designer Ineke Hans created the Rex table to go together with the Rex chair. Like the chair, the table is widely used for conference rooms, canteens, waiting rooms, education and care facilities and at home.
The chairs and tables in this series have legs with identical corners, making it immediately clear that they are related. The Rex table is available with three or four legs and has durable tops made of pressed old fabrics (Really from Kvadrat) or second-life full-core tops.
A strong foundation
Rex stands firmly thanks to its legs made of recycled aluminum. For the table top we use reused volkern tops or tops made of recycled fabrics, namely Really from Kvadrat).
The power of pressure
Rex can be made with two circular tops, either 12 or 18 millimeters thick. The 12-millimeter tabletop consists of layers of wood fibers that are compressed under high pressure until a hard plate is created. For the 18-millimeter top, old T-shirts and furniture fabrics are pressed together until a compact tabletop is created, with a solid bottom and top layer.
The more, the better
Like the chair, the Rex table is made to come into its own in any public space: the more people lined up, the better. The tabletops contain a top and bottom layer, so it does not warp and is resistant to scratches. The aluminum legs are beautiful, sleek and durable: the material retains its shape and, of course, does not rust.
