Our product development revolves around four pillars: waste reuse, long product life, possible repair and finally, at the end of their life cycle, recycling into raw materials. Circularity is our standard: this is our approach.
Every design a second life.
All designs, both existing and new, are given a chance at a new life with us. For example, we redeveloped the award-winning Rex design and put it into production, as a result of which the model once again won numerous awards and has been included in the permanent collections of leading design museums.
In search of the perfect material.
All our designs are made from waste or renewable resources. We research the best raw material for each design based on color, processability and availability. The result is a high-quality end product in terms of longevity, design, affordability, circulation, and of course comfort.
Start of production.
To keep prices as low as possible, we produce our furniture industrially and locally in modern factories in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy, where the environmental impact is minimal due to almost neutral emissions per product.
Each piece of furniture a long and happy life.
Our products have a long lifespan. Do you still need something new one day? No problem. Hand in the furniture to us or let us pick it up: you will receive a deposit in return, and we will lovingly bring it back to life.
Everything okay?
We check every piece of furniture we take back. We repair defective products, and we do a thorough cleaning.
If everything is in order, the furniture gets a second life.
Back to the beginning.
If a product or part is not repairable, we turn it back into new raw material by shredding the plastic and making regranulate from it. From this we then make the same product, again.
The basis is upcycling, from waste to product. After that, we make sure the circle stays closed.
