Our materials

All raw materials in our furniture are completely reusable - to make brand new circular furniture time and time again. As sturdy as their linear colleagues in the industry, but with more life experience.

PEFC wood

Blows with your wind

Trees offer countless possibilities: during their growth they absorb CO2, and after felling they can be recycled endlessly. Our wood, which comes from PEFC-certified forests, safeguards long-term environmental interests. The result? Wood that can be shaped in various styles, colors and finishes, as well as contributing to a better, sustainable future.

Recycled and pressed upholstery fabric

The transformation of pressed furniture fabrics

These furniture fabrics are collected locally in Denmark, assembled and compressed under high pressure. The pressure and heat released transform the soft furniture fabrics into a hard board with carpet pad and top layer. So hard, in fact, that you are guaranteed a table top that does not warp and is resistant to scratches. This material is used for the Rex table tops. Available in different colors and sizes.

Recycled aluminum

Recycled aluminum convinces time after time

Aluminum can be reused again and again without losing its strength. Commonly used objects such as cans are melted down and turned into something new at relatively little energy. This flexibility and ease of use make aluminum a perfect candidate for innovative design. Used for the Rex table legs.

Nylon

Fishing nets & carpets become modern design

Nylon 6 is manufactured from fossil fuels, resulting in greenhouse gas emissions and depleting natural resources. Our use of recycled nylon 6, derived from fishing nets, carpets and post-consumer products, allows us to produce high-quality products after processing and sorting the colorless grains. For every ton of regenerated ECONYL® nylon, we save seven barrels of crude oil. Recycling carpets can have a positive impact on our world, but requires everyone's contribution to this change.

Polypropylene

Everyday objects in a new light

Since we know that waste from our trash cans lends itself perfectly to brand new circular design furniture, we like to use post-consumer polypropylene. These bottle caps, trays and toys are fished out of a huge stream of plastics, sorted by color and chopped into small pieces. This regranulate is supplemented with 30% wood fiber, a residual product from a local wood processor, and processed into an injection molded pellet. Used for Kwart.

Artificial Grass

Artificial turf gets a new chance

The Netherlands is full of mountains of artificial grass, at the end of their life and no longer suitable to play on. We take that plastic and transform it, from a soccer field to run on to a sofa or armchair to recline in. The strong and long fibers are ideally suited for the Scala series, providing a sturdy, seamless piece of furniture that can withstand weather and wind. Used for the Scala series.
