Our materials
From waste to value - a circular future.
AtCircuform, we believe that tomorrow's raw materials already exist. We use waste streams and collected materials to create high-quality designer furniture. Every material we use is carefully chosen for its origin, properties and circular potential. What makes Circuform unique is that we dare to make radical choices. Not the label 'sustainable', but transparency and control over the chain are our focus. Where many companies claim to be green, but do not substantiate their claims, we go one step further: we are averse to greenwashing and prefer to let our materials and methods speak for themselves.
Recycled boats & wind turbine blades.
Our technology extracts thermosetting materials from existing composite products so that we can reuse them for new products without loss of quality. Wind turbine blades become beautiful flower pots. Sailboats become sleek desk tops. It never stops. It's endless. We strive to promote the circular economy by providing a practical solution for recycling polyester on a global scale. We believe that sustainability is not a luxury, but a necessity. And Circuform is committed to delivering tangible results.

Blows with your wind
Trees offer countless possibilities: during their growth they absorb CO2, and after felling they can be recycled endlessly. Our wood, which comes from PEFC-certified forests, safeguards long-term environmental interests. The result? Wood that can be shaped in various styles, colors and finishes, as well as doing its part for a better, sustainable future. Application: Ethy series.

The transformation of pressed furniture fabrics
These furniture fabrics are collected locally in Denmark, assembled and compressed under high pressure. The pressure and heat released transform the soft furniture fabrics into a hard board with carpet pad and top layer. So hard, in fact, that you are guaranteed a table top that does not warp and is resistant to scratches. This material is used for the Rex table tops. Available in different colors and sizes.

Recycled aluminum convinces time after time
Aluminum can be reused again and again without losing its strength. Commonly used objects such as cans are melted down and turned into something new at relatively little energy. This flexibility and ease of use make aluminum a perfect candidate for innovative design. Used for the Rex table legs.

Fishing nets & carpets become modern design
Nylon 6 is manufactured from fossil fuels, resulting in greenhouse gas emissions and depleting natural resources. Our use of recycled nylon 6, derived from fishing nets, carpets and post-consumer products, allows us to produce high-quality products after processing and sorting the colorless grains. For every ton of regenerated ECONYL® nylon, we save seven barrels of crude oil. Recycling carpets can have a positive impact on our world, but requires everyone's contribution to this change.

Everyday objects in a new light
Recycled Polypropylene (PP) is strong, dimensionally stable and excellent for injection molding. We exclusively use recycled PP, derived from post-consumer waste streams such as household plastic, bottle caps, discarded toys, as well as fabrics. All these materials are extracted from a wide stream of residual material, then sorted by color and processed into regranulate. To increase strength and durability, we enrich this granulate with 10% fiberglass - a residual product from the glass industry. The result is a high-quality injection molded pellet that we use for various parts. Application at Circuform: Quarter & Muta.

Artificial turf gets a new chance
The Netherlands is full of mountains of artificial grass, at the end of their life and no longer suitable to play on. We take that plastic and transform it, from a soccer field to run on to a sofa or armchair to recline in. The strong and long fibers are ideally suited for the Scala series, providing a sturdy, seamless piece of furniture that can withstand weather and wind. Used for the Scala series.
