Rex consists of nylon-6 injection molded pellets made from waste otherwise discarded and burned, such as old carpets and fishing nets. These are processed to create a pure re-granulate, ready for production. The chair's feet and stacking caps consist of a rubber-like material.

Using the technique of injection molding, we bring Rex to life at high speed and with as little material loss as possible. In this production process, which runs entirely on green electricity and guarantees low energy consumption for each component, liquid plastic is pressed under high pressure into four different molds. Combined, these form Rex. The material cures for several minutes, after which a robotic arm helps the part onto the assembly line, on its way to the next part of its journey.
