Green pioneering
Industrial designer Ton Haas created Kwart, a design that perfectly reflects his vision of durability and elegance. The goal: a lightweight chair, versatile, yet ironclad.
Ton analyzed the life cycle and drew inspiration for his design from it. The result is a chair with an eco-footprint of just €0.25, by far the lowest among all chairs currently available on the market. An appropriate name was quickly found.
But Kwart not only sounds good - it lives well. Every reason for us to embrace the design and reintroduce it to a wider audience.
Stronger together
Quart consists of recycled polypropylene obtained from bumpers, caps, toys and trays, among other things. From this, granulate is made with which we produce the chair in the Netherlands.
The road to efficiency.
The injection molding technique allows us to work efficiently and cost-effectively, without wasting material. We press the liquid regranulate under high pressure into mold or die. After cooling, Kwart is ready to conquer the world! With minimal use of raw materials and energy, this technique helps us further towards a greener future.

Coming full circle
Need something else? Return your product to one of our return locations: we will use the material to make new products from it, and you will receive €10.00 euro return for the Kwart, €20.00 return for the Rex (with/without backrest), €35.00 return for the Scala (armchair & sofa), €50.00 return for Ethy and €55.00 return for the Rex table (any size). Please call or email where you can best return the product.
