VERT - From Waste to Fully Circular Design
Circuform's VERT project bench was developed with recycled raw materials as its basis.
The firm EPS foam for the body, the seat foam and the soft project fabric are made from recycled materials and are given a new life at VERT.
Thanks to its clever design without glue, bolts or screws, the bench is not only durable and flexible, but also fully dismantleable and recyclable.
Parts are easily replaced, and when the bench is no longer needed, it can be returned for a deposit.
Whether you adjust the setup yourself or engage our assembly team, VERT moves with your space.
With VERT, we borrow raw materials from the chain and give them back after use. No waste, no waste - just future-proof design.
EPS foam, recycled.
The body of the VERT bench consists of 70% recycled EPS, derived from Styrofoam handed in at the recycling yard. This makes the bench both strong and lightweight, as well as fully recyclable.
From waste to seat foam.
For seat and back comfort, we use recycled foam made from a blend of latex and PU foam. These materials come from old furniture, mattresses and cutting waste, and are also completely recyclable.
Almost zero carbon impact.
As upholstery, we prefer to use our recycled polyester fabric, but another fabric can be used upon request. The upholstery is applied completely without glue or staples, making the sofa easy to disassemble after use into three mono-materials: EPS, foam and fabric - ready for recycling. The environmental impact (CO₂) of the VERT sofa is significantly lower than that of traditional sofas with a wooden body and new foam or fabric. If returned correctly after use, the end-of-life impact can even be reduced almost to zero.
Coming full circle
Need something else? Return your product to one of our return locations: we will use the material to make new products from it, and you will receive €10.00 euro return for the Kwart, €20.00 return for the Rex (with/without backrest), €35.00 return for the Scala (armchair & sofa), €50.00 return for Ethy and €55.00 return for the Rex table (any size). Please call or email where you can best return the product.
