Our Ethy is made from PEFC-certified oak or beech wood, directly from sustainable German forests. The PEFC label ensures long-term environmental interests, such as preventing soil erosion and biodiversity loss. Also, growing trees absorb CO2, making Ethy not only sustainable but also reducing greenhouse gases. In consultation with the local forest manager, trees that have completed their task are selected and further processed. This makes Ethy more than a piece of furniture; it is the perfect complement to a sustainable future.

Ethy is strong and flexible thanks to a technique that cuts tree trunks into thin sheets. These "wood sheets" are compressed into an eleven-ply, sturdy back and seat, so sturdy that both the seat and back do not warp.
