Spotted at Design District 2022

The Rotterdam Van Nelle Factory hosted the nineteenth edition of Design District from June 8 to 10. Architectenweb offers a small selection of products that were on display at the fair.

Deposit Chair
Another party with a strong focus on sustainability that presented itself at Design District was Circuform. The company showed there the chairs REX andKwart, designs by Ineke Hans and Ton Haas respectively. Circuform's starting point in the production of office furniture is to minimize the use of new raw materials and maximize reuse.

It does this by using industrial and post-consumer waste, among other things; in addition, the REX is a chair with a deposit. At the booth, the company showed as its latest product a table, consisting of a top made of pressed paper waste and recycled metal base.
