REX has won the Green Product Award 2023 in the Interior & Lifestyle category.

“The jury liked the comprehensive circular approach to the product life cycle. We are all aware of the circular gaps in Europe and the small share of materials that are really reused and maintained in highest quality. In our opinion this concept, securing recycled, & recyclable material strategy plus deposit offer make a very innovative solution worth spreading.”  Official Green Product Award Jury Statement

Circuform aims to minimize the use of expensive new raw materials and maximize reuse. In 2011, the design by Ineke Hans was reissued: REX. The design has been structurally developed as intended. The injection molds were re-engineered for recycled material (PA6), making the chair sustainable and fully recyclable. REX introduces a network of deposit stations where chairs can be returned for a guaranteed refund of €20. Returned chairs are inspected, cleaned, repaired if necessary, and resold with a deposit. Broken chairs are shredded into valuable raw material for new production.
